The purpose of my blog is to encourage youth and teens to live above the influence. Living above the influence means resisting the pressures we as teens and youth are faced with on a daily basis such as alcohol and drugs, gang involvement, eating disorders, bullying, or anything that could be a detriment to one's future. The message is simple. Be secure in yourself and rise above the negative actions of others. Discover your individual, unique qualities. Develop them, and let your light shine.
